Organizational Training & Consultation in Gerontology and Geropsychology

Rooted in her advanced specialty training in geropsychology and interprofessional team functioning, Dr. Northrop has served seniors for nearly 30 years, and is eager to help other professionals do the same. She has been an administrator in senior living communities and has provided mental health consultation in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities for decades. She has served on and lead interprofessional teams at nearly every level of care where one might encounter an older adult (primary care, memory care units, hospice, skilled nursing, homecare, community outpatient, hospital-based intensive outpatient, and inpatient behavioral health). She has managed and trained staff in many of these settings. Sample training topics include:
